Quaker barns, also known as Dutch gambrel barns, feature a gambrel roof design that creates excellent usable space upstairs. They are well suited for accommodation, offices, or storage, and the portal frame design is strong and cost-effective compared to timber.
We can include a mezzanine floor or leave it out, depending on your needs. Lean-tos can be added to the sides, and covered or uncovered balconies can be built onto the end walls.
The Quaker-style barn is a proven, simple design. When combined with a mezzanine floor, the usable floor area is almost doubled, creating a large, practical building with a relatively small footprint.
