We’re not part of a volume-driven national or multinational franchise chain and that’s exactly how we like it.
Based in Tauranga, we work with customers across the Bay of Plenty and throughout New Zealand.
We’ve built our reputation through hands-on experience, steady growth, and a strong focus on customer service and quality.
Built from real shed building experience
Our story started in 2002 with the purchase of a single kitset shed for a personal project. By 2004, that had grown into full-time work in the shed industry, building for a large Australian shed company.
Over the years, we built sheds for multiple franchise companies across New Zealand. This gave us a clear understanding of how large shed supply chains operate, where common design limitations exist, and where high-volume shed companies fall short on customer service.
From that experience, Kitset Sheds Ltd was created with a clear goal:
Deliver better sheds, smarter designs, and a higher standard of service.

I’m Paul Williams, owner-operator of Kitset Sheds Ltd. When you work with us, you’re not dealing with a salesperson you’re dealing directly with someone who has spent years on the tools building sheds.
